This self-contained twin bed studio apartment is an annexe to the main house in the small town of La Trimouille. The town is situated on the banks of the River Benaize and the outskirts of the Brenne National Park. It is a popular spot for fishing, walking and cycling and there are many signposted walks through the beautiful countryside. There is a boulangerie, supermarket, bank and restaurants all within walking distance from the house and the larger towns of Montmorillon to the south or Le Blanc to the north are just 15 minutes by car. Swimming lakes at Chaillac and Lac Mondon are also within easy reach in the summer.
The twin bedroom studio has an en-suite shower room. An additional bed or cot can be put into the bedroom. The kitchen/breakfast room was once the local bar and has the original bar counter which now houses a sink and two electric hotplates, fridge, microwave and mini oven. French TV and DVD player available in the bed/sitting room and there is access from here to the shared courtyard.
Swimming pool available for guests' use June - September.
All linen and towels are provided. Central heating.
